Tryazon and Note to Self Sock Party

Thanks to Tryazon I was able to host a party with the company Note to Self. The product we got to try were their positive affirmation socks. Not only are these socks cute and fit great but they have a fun saying on the bottom AND on the toe. I thought they were a lot of fun and they fit great. I know some places I would love to get these for people- maybe graduation presents. I think it would be awesome to get these for people who are going in for chemo as they often have to sit and stare at their feet when they are getting their meds delivered. I know they have some that say good mom- that would be fun for Mother's Day and they also have some that say I love playing on the toes and then a sport on the bottom. Snuggles and Squishies Tryazon party

We were able to try the "world's softest plush" and they did not disappoint. First off, these stuffed animals are adorable- all of them have such unique features. Second, they are extremely soft- which I have noticed is a big trend in EVERYTHING right now. Third, they have some sort of beads in their extremities which makes them feel like a warm hug when you put the on your chest when you are laying down. The variety of sizes and characters is also something that is very fun with these products. 

The Mush Meez- were an experience for all- some kids really thought they were fun and enjoyed the product and some kids couldn't get over the stickiness- One of the fun ways the kids played with them was throwing them at the ceiling and watching them slow peel from above and see who could catch it. And when I say slow peel that is what they did! I was amazed at how it didn't matter how hard you pulled and squeezed these things they came back to their original shape. And speaking of shapes there were so many to choose from. I think the hamburger was our favorite big one but the little ones got a lot more play as they fit nicely in hands and they were fun to squeeze hands together and then watch the Much Meez pull apart. Overall my kids were not huge fans but we had other kids who could not get enough. They are fun enough to try and would be a great stocking stuffer for kids I would say ages 5-12.

Two new DSS Games #Tryazon Party

Summer is a crazy time of year where sometimes you have hours of kids at home and sometimes you don't see them for weeks. We got to try these two games out as a family and really enjoyed 

Acting Out- this game is played by one person drawing a card and having 15 seconds to act out the silly request- then everyone writes down what their guess is and the actor also writes down the correct answers- then the actor reads all of the choices out loud and people have to vote for which one they think is correct. At first we were not very good guessers, but as the game moved on we were more easily able to add some details to our cards and my daughter came up with some very good answers that tricked us a lot. It was a fun game- even my grumpy teenage son got involved after he heard all the laughter.

The My Funny Family game is basically a different version of one of the most popular games on the market- but it is geared towards family. While we had a blast playing it with our immediate family, I can not wait to take it to our family vacation this summer have have cousins, grandparents and aunts and uncles involved. I know we will play this game for many years to come and because we have two sides of a family there will be many different answers each time we play it

Personalogy Game night #tryazon

 

We had a fun time getting to try out a new game called Personalogy- Ask your friends or family what you think you would choose based on the question that you are asked. I had a day where I did this in my classroom. We asked 29 different people their question. Students enjoyed trying to guess what each person would say and thought the game was fun. There are a few PG-13 cards in there but for the most part they are pretty fun. It is a small box so very easy to just bring with us where ever we go. We even played one round in a restaurant. Thank you Personalogy and Tryazon for letting us try out your fun new game. 

Zolli Candy Review #Tryazon

It was a great time to get to try some of Zolli's new to us products. Several years ago an innovative teenager wanted a candy product that was sugar free, allergy friendly, and free of dyes. Since that day where she started making suckers, many new products have blossomed into many more products. This time we got suckers, plus taffy, sour taffy, caramels, and chocolate covered caramel candy. We were impressed with all of them although the sour taffy and the suckers with gum disappeared the fastest with our group. These are a nice alternative to other not so healthy for you candy products and there is no lack on good flavor- it's just an all around better product for you. Thank you to Zolli and Tryazon for letting us try these amazing products. 

 

Urthy Scents Massage oil candle Tryabox

 I got to try a new product from Urthy Scents a brand that sticks to products that do not have all those bad for your body chemicals in them and can still find a way to make great smelling products and products that work. The candle was very cool- I have never used something like that before but it was amazing. I loved the way it made my skin feel after it was rubbed in and the scent lasted forever! I was so impressed with the scent in the oil I plan to buy it in the fine fragrance as soon as I can afford it. These candles retail for $35 and I can't wait to use it again! Crazy Aaron's Very Merry Tryazon Party

What fantabulous products!! Tryazon has had several Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty parties and we have applied for all of them because my KIDS ARE CRAZY for this stuff. We got to try several different products this time. Think putties of all shapes and sizes, some even had scents. I am totally sold on the mini tins- and now keep them on my desk and use them on the daily! We got slime and cloud slime- the cloud slime is so fun and not as sticky as real slime so I know this will be new purchases for me in life! I love how there are so many different varieties of Crazy Aaron products, some are color changing, some have little toys or beads in them, some have scents. There is a version of this product for everyone. The minis were my very favorite- they have just the right amount of thinking putty in them. Every single product from Crazy Aaron's would make a great stocking stuffer. So LOAD UP!

Even big kids love Connetix magnetic tiles

 My kids are a bit "too old" for toys, but about two years ago they fell in love with their younger cousins' magnetic tiles. They begged me to get them some for Christmas and spent hours on our family vacation building with their cousins who were a full decade younger they they were. 

I just couldn't justify buying them a set because I thought they were too expensive when my kids would just "grow out of them" boy was I wrong! When I won this party from Tryazon I knew my kids were going to be thrilled. They came up with several "big kid" ideas of how to play with them. Not only did they like to make slow motion destruction videos, they discovered they could set them up up like targets at a shooting range and use their air soft and nerf guns to knock down the targets. I am so thankful to have these. They are super sturdy and don't take up a lot of storage space, I am sure we will keep them for years and years and play with them often.

Footlogix Tryazon Spa night review

Cracked, dry heels is something I have been dealing with for many years. So when I found out I could host a Footlogix pedicure night I knew I had to ump at the chance. Footlogix has an Ultimate Pedi Kit that they sent to me with several extra foot files to share with friends. Let's just say that we had some crusty heels in our group and many shy foot people but we were impressed with the results. There were a few steps to the process- first they have a callus softener spray that is put on the feet for about 5 minutes. Then you start filing your feet- after you are satisfied with your results they have another product called a Daily Maintenance formula moose. This is put on after and then again every day for as long as you want. We were happy with the results we got on our feet. Piggy Piggy game review

 

Thank you to Hasbro and Tryazon for the free game we received in order for our honest opinion. 

When this game showed up I was pretty excited to play it, my teenagers took one look at the game "box" and were not impressed. However after reading the direction and watching a video (we still didn't really understand) we tried playing the game. From that point on the kids were hooked. They really thought it was a fun game and we have played it MANY times since we received it. My kids say it reminds them of another game with animals in the title but I wasn't familiar enough with that game. We had a lot of fun playing and can't wait to share it with the kids' younger cousins. 

The Super Fun Family Time Game review

 

It is always fun to get to try out a new game. This game comes from DSS Game and is an easy card game to play around the dinner table. One player spins to see if the topic will be funniest, worst or best and then everyone else has to give an answer to the question. The reader then decides who has the best answer and that person wins the card. We like to play this nightly around the dinner table just to have some non electronic fun discussions. 

I was given a free product by DSS Games and Tryazon in exchange for my review.  

Tryazon "The Baffling Bowl!" Party

 We haven't had a board game to try for a long time, but when I heard that Tryazon had a party for a new game and the party needed to happen while we were on vacation- I signed us up. My kids groaned as they have gotten used to all my crazy games and sometimes they don't find them fun but after one night playing The Baffling Bowl! they were having a great time. We laughed so hard that we cried, we played boys against girls and the boys team won but three points so the game was very close.

Kids say this game is a lot like "fishbowl" and I know there is another card game that is also very similar but this game has it's own set of rules that makes it unique. Before the game starts everyone grabs a booklet and picks out two words to tear out and throw into the bowl (my kids were appalled- "is this a one time use game?" However there are 600 unique words and you can save the used words if you want to. There are three rounds- round one consists of getting people to guess the word without using two key words also on the paper. Round two people can use no words or their dominate hand and try to get people to guess the words- (same words are put back in the bowl.) The last round is  where it gets interesting- people get one chance to say the word BACKWARDS. It's a lot harder than it sounds and we had a lot of laughs this round. Over all I thought the game was pretty fun. It does seem weird that you use paper cards and that it could be a game that eventually runs out, and I didn't like that they didn't send a timer. In the instructions it says "use a cell phone" naw I am old school games that need a timer please send one!

Ravenburger "That's Not A Hat" Game night review/Tryazon Party

 

Trying new games is something our family loves to do so when Ravensburger asked us to try out three of their new games we couldn't say no! I will list my games in order from favorite to not so favorite.

Level 8- the joke at our house is that someone got mad when they were playing Phase 10 with their family and decided to go ahead and write their own rules to play by. If you have played Phase 10 then this game will be fairly easy to catch on to. There are 8 levels and cards are numbered 1-15 with skip cards and wilds. On each level there is a pattern of sorts you must get a run of a certain amount 1,2,3,4 10,11,12 or there are a few that you have to get the same number like four pairs. They also have a few levels where color matters. Each person has their own discard pile and when it is the next player's turn they can draw from any of the discard piles or from the middle. A round ends when someone has laid their cards and then runs out of cards but being able to play on someone else's line or on their own. The person who runs out of cards moves down two levels and anyone who has laid their level also gets to move down but just one. It is a very fun game- depending on how many people you have playing it, it can take a fairly long time to play.

Pinata Blast is a few game for kids of all ages. This one is a bit easier for the younger audience to catch on to. There are several die that all have candy images on them. Each player is given seven cards that also have images of candy on them. The person with the pinata stick rolls all the dice and then chaos begins. If you see a candy that matches your card you lay it down and then grab the dice with your candy on it but look out there is a green die and whatever image is on that one makes that particular candy bad for the round and you will lose your card if you accidentally grab that kind. When we played it with three people it was very easy to avoid the "bad candy"but when we added in an extra two people it was much harder to remember. This is a very fun game and can be played in under 10 minutes so it's a good game for those with a shorter attention span or if you are just trying to kill a few minutes! 

That's not a Hat- the reason for the party.... well we just honestly didn't get this game. I don't know if it's because we all have terrible memories but every round we played, no one actually remembered what they had. I guess we need to try it again, maybe with a different group of people but I wasn't very impressed with this one. 

That being said all the games came in nice small boxes so they are so easy to take on trips. I had not played Ravensburger games before and became a big fan of theirs and I can not wait to see what else they put out!

Tryazon and Pillow Cube Party

We got to try out the #pillowcube pillow the last few weeks- I love the cooling features of the pillow and if you are a true side sleeper this is a good pillow. I apparently sleep a bit too much on my stomach! However it has been passed on to another side sleeper in my house who loves it! We love the cute little sloth and they have several other options of kid cube pillows, a cat, a unicron and a shark. I am a big fan of their Cubezzz Sleep Supplements. I love that they have some melatonin and magnesium in them. Gave me restful sleep and I woke up feeling refreshed. #tryazon We really enjoyed this party and were glad to host. The t-shirts with the 90s vibes were also enjoyed by all!

 

ANOTHER game night for the Nordgrens ONE and DONE

Another fun game that our family got to try. For all those who have followed our gaming journey, it’s a bit like Blank Slate- except there are teams involved- there are also ways to sabotage the other team. I think this would be a great game of a big group- especially if you add in the harder parts. Says ages 14+ and I would say that is pretty accurate, not due to anything inappropriate- just for the difficulty of the game. I think you could easily play this with a group as large as 20 people, if anyone wants a coupon code let me know!!  

Another Fun game night from The OP and Tryazon

 

We were able to have another fun round of game parties. Mish Match is a game I would say is between the card game War and Spot it- It is a fun game that kids of all ages really enjoyed. Tapple 10 is a spin off of the full board game called Tapple. this game has the same concept but there are 10 different ways to play this game. We enjoyed one where you have to a specific topic and then a card that tells you what the word must start with and the first person to guess a word that fits gets the card. First player to ten cards whens the game. The other night we played that game with four adults and three kids and it worked out well for everyone! Thank you to the theOP and Tryazon for choosing us! 

Fuzzies Game Night brought to you by Tryazon

Fun to get to try games and share them with you when everyone is starting to look for that new hot game for buying during the Christmas season. This is like quiet Jenga- The goal is mostly the same- make a tower of fuzzy balls and then depending on what color the card is take a fuzzy off and place it higher on the tower. If you knock any off then you have to take as many cards as you fuzzies that got knocked off and complete those tasks moving forward. My kids really enjoyed the fuzz balls and trying to get them to stay together. We had a little friend over for the evening and he LOVED playing the game, we may not have followed the rules then but he had a fun time watching the balls fall.  Thanks to Tryazon and ASMODEE games for allowing us to host this party. 

Casa M Spice Company and Tryazon Party

What a great line of products from Casa M Spice Company. Hosting a party for Tryazon, we got to try the Casa M Spice Company's Stainless Shaker gift set (it retails for $134.99 or a little over $16 per spice. I loved the variety that they had for different types of meat. They had spices for beef, chicken, fish and a few all purpose seasonings as well. 

We enjoyed trying the season all for our burgers and they gave off such good flavor. I love the name of the beef one as we live deep on beef country. Cattle Drive actually means something to us! I also love the feeling of the stainless shakers they feel so nice in the hand and put just the right amount of spice with each shake. 

We even got brave and tried the Hooked spices (my family is not a huge fish eating family. We had some trout we had bought awhile back and used this to make a blackened fish. It was very flavorful and even our fish avoiding kids thought it was pretty good. 

The only thing I thought was a little weird is on all the ingredients the first ingredient is "spices" there are very few different ingredients listed after that so I am just curious as to what "spices" means. We were very happy with the products and thankful to Tryazon and Casa M Spice Company choosing us. 

 

Bestway and Tryazon air mattress party

We have always loved the Bestway brand- we already have two mattresses- a queen size high topper and a twin sized high topper. This one is a queen sized low bed and we were very impressed with how well it worked, also how quickly it aired up. It only took 90 seconds to be from flat to ready for use! My 17 year old 6 ft tall daughter used it for a whole week when we were on vacation. The sheets stayed on, it stayed aired up and she really enjoyed it. Chronicles of Crime Game night review

 

We got picked to host another Tryazon game night. This one is from Asmodee USA. It is a who done it and why crime scene investigation. You have to download the app and check out crime scenes (you can use VR if you have it which is a cool feature) you also interview people and try to figure out what clues you find. It is a game that takes quite a while to play. The game is suggested for people 12+ and I would say that is a pretty accurate description of who can handle this game. They do have expansion packs if the game is enjoyed enough to do that. Since it's a crime scene investigation with the currant game it allows for one tutorial and four games. Which take around an hour a piece. It was a bit difficult for us getting started but once we got into it, we became detectives and enjoyed trying to figure who who what and why of our crime.
