Skillmatics Guess in 10 Game review
We had fun playing these Skillmatic Guess in 10 games around the campfire, around a table, and discovered they would also be very easy to play on the long car trips we will have over the Christmas break! We got to try the United States and the Animal card sets. On each card are three clues, one person reads the first two clues and then the other person or team are to ask 10 questions to see if they can get the answer right. Our three older kids (11, 13, and 15) could get the States one really fast but the animal ones took them a bit longer. This game is PERFECT for my 8 year old and he was a little more challenged on each deck compared to his older siblings. There are many more card sets that can be purchased and is a great educational gift for Christmas. Thank you to Tryazon and Skillmatics for allowing me to host this party.

Niagara Chocolates Tryazon Party
Wonderful, tasty, yummy chocolates! These Niagara chocolates were so fun to share with friends and family after we had eaten all the mass produced Halloween candy. These were so much better. All of the flavors were amazing and I could tell they were made with the upmost care. My very favorite flavor was the Toasted Coconut Clusters- I am also very excited to try my toffee bar which I haven't done yet. I like that they come in bags for sharing but also many of the flavors come in candy bar sizes as well. The dark chocolate and the milk chocolate are both very well made. Thank you to Niagara Chocolates and Tryazon for letting us try these fun chocolates!

Family Game night thanks to Spin Master
Kids vs Parents (and grandparents) game night- What a blast! Voting on favorite game is a mixed bag at our house but we enjoyed playing all of them. Let's start with the latest addition to the Hedbanz family is Hedbanz Blast Off! The kids really enjoyed this one- it's a lot like the original however with a timing element in the headband that will eject the card if the person doesn't figure out what the card says in time. The cards went flying all over it was a bunch of fun!
We had played Beat the Parents before but this game is new and improved they have fun challenges that help you move your game piece closer to the end one of them was putting all our heads in a circle and one person says Ha then the next and so on until someone actually starts laughing. Of course the kids won this one as they always do! lol
The Jumanji game has a pretty cool set up- with a glowing caldron in the middle that is interactive. This one will make you jump up and down on one foot to get away from insects on the island or running to find head gear to help you on your trek through the jungle. The kids really had a blast with this one.
The Netflix game at least for our family is more of an adult game and with that being said it wasn't really easy for us either because we don't watch Netflix. It's a little like apples to apples- there is a judge that draws a situation card then each player has to pitch a Netflix show with a plot twist. Would be a great game for the Netflix enthusiast in your family.
The final game is a Harry Potter game- Kiah is the only one in our family who knows anything about Harry Potter but the game was easy to catch onto. It's called Cath the Golden Snitch. You have to try to build sets of cards while people are trying to build their own sets or steal yours. Throw in the fact that someone may throw a Golden Snitch at you and you need to try to catch it.
We always love game nights so it was fun to get so many new ones to try.
Thank you Spin Master and Tryazon for this opportunity!

Hues and Cues Board Game review
I had seen this game online several times and was so curious as to how you play it. Basically the challenge of the game is describing a color on a huge board of squares with only one or two words. The person who is trying to describe the color wants to do the best that they can because they get points based on how close people are to the right square. The game goes to 50 points (but we have often played to 25 just to make it go faster. It can be played with as many as 10 people and as few as 3. Our 8 year old really enjoys it so it can be played with young and old alike. I guess the only way that someone wouldn't be able to play is if they are color blind! LOL It is highly recommended by my family who really loves to play a lot of board games. This one will be played for for years to come. Thanks again for letting our group try this game out!
