MyMagazine Sharing Network Pie Palooza! #freesample #ad

When I found out that Kroger wanted to send me a #FreeSample so I could make a pie with some of their product ingredients I was thrilled! I love to bake but often have a hard time doing it because I just don't like picking out my own recipes. This was a fun and super easy recipe- although if I make it again I would switch step 2 to step three so I would make the topping while the pie was baking for the first 15 minutes. I was a bit surprised though. Kroger wanted me to make things using their brand products but when I went to the store their brands were not on sale but the brand name items were and then that made the brand name ones cheaper. I was jus surprised that there was that much of a difference. Even the coupon didn't make the price cheaper.  I guess I just expected their brand to be lower than the national brands even when they were on sale. I can't wait to eat this pie for dinner! Rituals USA Try-a-box review

This past summer I got to try a Rituals pack so when Tryazon so when I found out they were doing a new try-a-box for Rituals I crossed my fingers and hoped that I would I would get chosen. I got to try this fun kit shown here. It included a salt scrub which I LOVED- it made me feel like I was at a spa- I love using it on my feet now that the temps are getting colder my feet get drier and crack so I am hoping this will save my soles this winter! 

The pack also came with a foaming body wash which is super fun to use! I love how much foam I get from it and it's great for shaving my legs! There is also a full sized hand soap that my whole family has enjoyed using. The final product is a body lotion and I enjoyed this as well. The scent is something hard to explain but I have enjoyed them all. Plus they come in a cute box that doesn't need to be wrapped if you would buy this for someone for a gift. I was given a free sample of this product from Tryazon and Rituals and all the opinions are and words here are all my own.

Save the Day Seasonings Party and Review Plus a Giveaway!

I have always loved to add seasonings to my food- the roast in the above picture is one I made this past week with a new seasoning called Alvi's Incredible I was so happy to get to try it and it did not disappoint. They come from a company called Save the Day Seasonings and they have SO MANY different kinds- Italian, Jamaican, Thai, Indian Chinese, and Cajun just to name a few. This company wanted their product to be versatile- we used ours on a roast, popcorn, and in many dips, we also plan to use them again for several marinades. I am waiting for chicken breast to go on sale then I plan to slow cook it all day with the Italian seasoning and use that in my chicken fettuccine Alfredo! We had a several people show up for the party but several had to miss as well as it's a busy time of year so I decided to host a giveaway. I will pick three winners and contact them in order that they are picked and let them pick out their flavors. Winnings can NOT be mailed so much be someone I will see in the next month (so most of Kansas is open to enter as I will be traveling both west and east soon! Blank Slate game night Review

Our family LOVES board games so whenever Tryazon has a new game for people to try we always want to make sure we get signed up to try it! We were not disappointed with Blank Slate a game from Usaopoly In the game everyone has a "blank slate" (actually a white board)and then a card is drawn. It has a word on it like honey and then a blank that players are supposed to fill in. So an answer could be comb, bee, etc if a person matches with one other player they each get 3 points if there are more than two that match the same word they get one point if you don't match with anyone then you don't get any points. It is the first player to get 25 points that wins. It was a lot of fun. Young and old can enjoy this game. My eight year old LOVED it. This game takes about 30 minutes to play and was a wonderful addition to our family's game collection.

Nature's Eats snacks and Almond Flour #Review

Snacking is my favorite past time- I have only dieted ones in my life and that was because a company asked me to do it for them and the thing I missed most was my snacks. Nature's Eats wants to help with that problem. Now while not all items were Keto diet approved most of them worked well for that diet as well as the Whole 30 another diet a lot of my friends have done in the past or are doing now. We got to try a few different flavors of cashews which were both very good, a trail mix, and some raw almonds. My kids enjoyed the trail mix flavors and my husband enjoyed the cashews because they had some spicy flavoring to them. My friend Emily on the Whole 30 asked for a cup of the almond flour so she could make some breaded chicken strips for her family and I still plan to make a chocolate cake with the almond flour in the next week! If you are looking for a healthy snack these are a good place to start and like I said they can go with many diets out there. Thank you Tryazon and Nature's Eats for the samples you gave me to share with family and friends for free. All the words here are my own.

LALA Yogurt Smoothies

I have been a big fan of LALA Yogurt Smoothies since I first heard of them. They are made with real fruit and don't have artificial flavors or coloring.They also have 5 grams of protein per bottle.  I love drinkable yogurt but always tended to find smaller sizes just for kids so when this product was first introduced I was excited to finally have one for ME to try! The taste is really good and I really enjoy drinking one of these after a hard workout they are also nice to grab and take in the car when I don't have time for breakfast. So far we have tried the Strawberry and Strawberry Banana flavors. We like both of them- and from the picture you can tell that they didn't stay mine very long and now the kids want to drink them all the time as well!
