Jan 2017 Freebies

So I have decided instead of posting about all my freebies on facebook or instagram this year. I am going to do one blog at the end of each month (well at the end of my month when I get through all my emails from the month before) and let my readers see what companies I work with and if they have any questions they can ask. Usually I have just kept track of my items by date but this year since I am hoping to purge a few companies in the next few months to a year when I will probably start working outside of the home and won't have as much time. Somehow even though I have two mornings a week with no children I have less time than ever before. Anyways each month I will showcase a few of the companies I work with- giving you the good the bad and the ugly and then if you have some spare time maybe you pick one to sign up for maybe you don't.
This month I got a lot from Coke points- if you ever look at your 12 packs or even bottles there are codes on them and you can redeem them for prizes. This started the year Kjell and I were married and we used to go to our recycling center (which was a semi trailer) and dig out the codes we got SO many good things- then they started putting caps on how many points you could enter and I found out in January they are discontinuing the program that is why I got so many things I am cashing out points we have had for awhile now.
Crowdtap is a very fun company they have also started giving out less points which means I have stopped giving them a lot of my time but they are still my favorite as far as how they work you just go and give them opinions and get points. When you get 1000 you get a $5 amazon gift code. They also send products for me to test and promote if I like them. They used to give about 120 points for completing all the steps on those now they give 20 so I have to really like the product to sign up.
E-Rewards deals in $ but they don't pay you in the $ per survey so it looks good- take this 10 minute survey make $5 but a $50 GC costs 145 of their dollars. I like this company not too many surveys and no matter what they give you .25 in their money per survey you try.
The IPSOS is actually from one survey- They asked Justus and myself to take a two day discussion survey about some commercials. It took us about an hour total to do it (30 minutes each day) and then we had our choice of gift cards. I chose something we could use together and we  got to go see the new Lego Movie last weekend
We also plan to use the Redbox gift cards for a few movies we didn't get to see over Christmas break like we had hoped to!
Smiley360 usually sends me good stuff and they want me to promote it on my facebook and Twitter pages, so I was very surprised when I told them in a survey that I was not a big drinker I got this package in the mail.
Ummmm Thanks?? Ok so the good news is for my readers is I am giving this gift pack away. It comes with the hat, the black keychain and the coozie. I am keeping the star keychain because it looks cool and my girls told me I couldn't get rid of it and they have no idea what Heineken is.  Look for how to enter to win it at the bottom of this blog! This prize WILL NOT BE MAILED so you must have a way for me to get it to you in the next month so Abilene, Meade, Topeka areas and most places in between.
Finally the last one I will talk about is YouGov- yes I made $100 dollars with them but it took me a long while. I needed 100,000 points to get to that amount and most surveys are 500 and a few are a bit more 1500 to 3000. I did end up leaving this company after I cashed out with some regrets. I left because the only good prize they have is the $100 gift card. The rest of the prizes are JUNK so if you want to commit to one company this might be the one for you. Maybe 1 survey a day and they are used by the media many of their surveys are political in nature and I have seen multiple media outlets use their data so I actually felt like I was making a difference.  Thanks for reading and DON'T forget to enter to win. I am also giving away two free Banza chickpea pasta coupons and it doesn't matter where you live I will mail those to you if you win!

Luvsome cat food review

My fluffy cat and I were excited that we got picked to try the new Lovsome brand of cat food (and dog food for those with dogs) that they have at Dillons (or Kroger) The first thing we tried out were the cat toys- apparently our cat is not a cat toy fan. She adopted us so we don't know much about her past life (we have had her for almost a year) but it obviously does not include cat toys! However we know for SURE that she was only fed wet cat food, because whenever we get it- she just chows down on it. She absolutely LOVED it!

If you buy this product for you cat it is smart to try to slowly implement it into their diet so that it doesn't hurt their tummies. I had to buy the dry food at our local Dillons with my free coupon. I was impressed with the price and the quality of this cat food. I will be buying it for future cat food purchases for sure!
Thank you Luvsome and Crowdtap for sending Lightning free samples of your new cat food. All the opinions and words here are hers and her owner- me Laressa.  Thanks for reading!

Tryazon Kaskey Kids Football Guys #Review

Thanks to Tryazon and Kaskey Kids we got to have a football guys party during our Super Bowl Party!

Kaskey toys reminded me just a bit of several different toys- that one game my older brother used to have when we were kids- there was a "football field" that you could plug into the wall and line football guys on and then it would vibrate and the players would move? That was a classic! These toys are also reminiscent of the army men that many kids have grown up playing with.

From there things are a little different than anything out there on the market. While we got to try out the football guys, there are also soccer guys, soccer girls, baseball guys, hockey and a handful of college teams that can be ordered as well! I liked the size the guys were because we went to a play group with my son and there are some little kids there and these are ok for them to handle! The classic packs come with a felt football field, two goal posts and a ref that is holding his hands up in the touchdown position. They come with two quarterback, two running backs, four receivers/d-backs, 8 utility players and 10 linemen. The colors were got were red and blue and a set of green and black. I only had one issue with the players, where is that poor guy who kicks field goals? So sad there is no kicker lol! Something else a few of the kids didn't like was that there is no actual ball, there is a ball in the QB's hand and one under the RB's arm but several asked where the ball was. Several other kids did not care and were able to make a very imaginative game.

The other cool use of these football guys is as cake toppers. Kiah and I had fun making cupcakes to take to our party with some of the football guys.
These could be a great addition to a child's birthday party. We had a lot of fun with them and tried to make them as close to the two teams in the super bowl as we could with what we had been given.

The last thing we plan to do is we got a tray of football guys mystery boxes - we plan to use these as our Valentine's for the boys in the younger three kids' class with a fun pinterest savvy saying on them.

All of these products can be found on Amazon- check it out and see what all they have!

This is a product I see Javan playing with for a long time- if you have kids who like to sports this may be perfect for them. Thank you Tryazon and Kaskey Kids for sending us the products to share with our friends. We received them for free in exchange for our review. All the words here are my own.
our team didn't win this year!
