Purex No Sort for Colors Review and Giveaway

Justus has two major jobs at our house. Cleaning his own room and helping me sort laundry every Thursday or Friday. Yes I am that mom who still with a family of six washes all the clothes on the same day. The morning we were to do laundry I told Justus how we weren't going to have to sort the clothes this week, then I handed him the bottle. Words like AMAZING and WOW THIS IS MAGIC came out of his mouth! He also said, "mom, Purex should have sent you two bottles!" Let me tell you I will not get away with buying anything else as long as this kid is helping me with the laundry! The bottle tells us that the detergent can trap loose dyes and reduces dye bleeding chances not allowing them to settle onto other clothing items.. It DOES however state it is in fact not magic (sorry Justus) and new "strongly" colored clothes or jeans should be washed at least five times with like items before you can trust that it wont cause bleeding. 

I enjoyed the product a lot. I actually threw in each kid's basket as a load and then had that kid's stuff all done so hypothetically I could just wash, dry and fold it all and get it put in their room before the next load. However with four kids most moms know that just doesn't usually happen that way. So yes I got all the laundry washed before lunch. Which is good I usually have the last load out by 2. It really seemed to save me a lot of clothes. My only issue which isn't really a big deal is- I don't know if I have/had any clothes in there that could have transferred dye or not. We are super frugal when it comes to clothes so most are either old, garage sale finds or hand me downs!  However I really did feel I gained an extra hour of my life that day and that is well worth it. I am so type A though I am not sure how much I enjoy just tossing it in. (yes I know I am weird)

Mom's Night Out Movie Review and Giveaway

Ok my husband officially thinks I am crazy because I just keep watching this preview and laughing and laughing... He just doesn't get it. We are actually well I guess I am actually planning a MOPS night out when this movie comes to Salina so that we can all maybe go eat a nice supper and relax at a movie but I am also realistic and know most of my friends are watching their budget too so maybe just the movie and big tubs of popcorn. Viva Vantage paper towels

Thanks to Crowdtap I got to try a roll of Viva Vantage paper towels. They have a new texture to give them more scrubbing power! I really enjoyed them and was impressed how well they worked on some of my toughest jobs. I tested them against a store brand with a table spoon of water on the table and then mopped it up just like the commercials! I could really tell the difference as soon as I picked up the store brand one it felt heavier and it ripped. The Viva roll didn't seem as heavy- the water was completely sopped up and then it took me pulling for a long time to get it to pull apart. I will be buying them again.

Purex Pet Detergent

Now I don't have a pet but I know that many of my readers to so Purex has heard your cries for detergent that you can use for your pet's clothes.

 I can only imagine the time and effort it took Purex to get us this product. If you would like to try some please leave me a message and I will Purex know. But since I don't have a pet they would't send me coupons yet.

Purex Crystals- fabulously fresh GIVEAWAY!

I have to say I have gotten to try several of the different Purex Crystals in wash fragrance boosters over the past three years and I have liked all of them... but I have NEVER loved one like I love this one. First off the color of the crystals- they are neon green I love it they were so pretty! I also just LOVED the smell I am not really sure how to describe it, only that when I opened my washer after I was done- I opened the door to spring. I was excited to use this along with another Purex product I had that is also in the picture the joint smell was amazing. There is a reason it is called Fabulously Fresh- because it is! I also noticed on the bottle though that it's limited addition so make sure you get yours soon because I have no idea how long they will be around. Soft Scrub 4 in 1 toilet care

I found these 4 in 1 product in the store and they are super inexpensive and I think for how shiny they make the toilet bowl it is totally worth it. I don't think all toilet cleaners are created equal and this by far is one of the best ones out there

Dial Deep Cleansing Hand Soap GIVEAWAY!

I was super excited to get to try out Dial's new line of hand soap. If you have read any of my past blogs you know how much I love Dial and how I grew up with them in my family. The soaps have gentle micro-scrubbers in them that make me feel like my hands are getting really clean. They also come in three fun scents. I was able to try out two of them. The three they have are Yellow Raspberry and Black Sugar- this one was by far the family favorite of the two we tried, Coconut Lime Verbena is another one we also tried this one and loved the bright green color. The one we did not get to try is called Water Blossoms and they say it has  a crisp floral scent. I love how the product is supposed to improve my skin's dryness. At this time of year I really need a soap that can do this or else my hands can get sooo super dry. The micro-scrubbers make my hands feel super smooth after each use as well. I was impressed with the shape of the bottles too. I generally buy my hand soaps from Bath and Body Works just because I like the shapes of the bottles but I thought these fit right in with the bit fancier bottles.
